Biography
James Cotter is an actor with UK and US TV credits, and has appeared in films including The Sweeney, World War Z and The Wedding Video. His theatrical work includes Bill Kenwright's productions of Evita and Agatha Christie's Witness for the Prosecution, Jesus Christ Superstar, Cabaret, 'Allo 'Allo!, The Sound of Music, The Taming of the Shrew, and The Adventures of Mr. Toad in a UK tour. He has performed in radio productions of Point Blank for Rivera FM, and A Comic Review of the Year for BBC Radio Devon. His agent is Michael Terry at Act Now.
John Tomkins cast James in dual roles in They're Coming (2012), portraying a sinister waiter in the film's opening scene, and later as the drunkard Sam Burnes who imparts information to David York (Tom Menary). He stars as Bob Diablo in A Dark Tale (2013), and has a featured role as a mime artist in Indietro (2013). James also appears in Shields of Justice (2014).
James made his Wingless Films debut in The Guardsman, appearing as a drunk who is targeted and assaulted by the embittered guardsman (Tom Menary). James is featured in some of the short's final shots, with make-up supplied by Lexi Gilbert showing the extent of his injuries.
