We are now in post-production on our next short. The last stretch of filming took place on 19th August at Royal William Yard, where we were accompanied by a couple of familiar faces, although both newcomers to Wingless Films.
James Cotter has a role as a drunken man, which coincidentally links back to John Tomkins' They're Coming (2012), in which James played a drunk offering cryptic information to David York (Tom Menary). He also stars in A Dark Tale (2013) and will be appearing in Shields of Justice.
Alex "Lexi" Gilbert provided on-location make-up for critical shots towards the end of the film. She previously supplied the make-up and special effects for JoJo Moreschi's Home Sweet Home (2013), co-starring Tom Menary.
Rick Stear accompanied us once again, providing many great location photos, including the one featured on this page. His wife, Debby, has a cameo appearance in the film. Aside from Rick's photography, several snaps from both days' filming can be found here.
We'll be releasing more details on the film soon as we approach the release. For now, feel free to check out the Pennycomequick AV Club, who have recently featured Cantharsis (2012) as their "AV of the Week", and are planning on screening the short in Plymouth in the near future.
Until then.
