The tale of a red-hooded girl (Elisabeth Burnette) caring for her sick mother (Rosie Mullins) was shot in the foreboding woods of Didworthy and the quiet suburbs of Plymouth, and features plenty of scares, shocks and blood. Jim Elton makes a guest appearance, while Tom Menary composed the film's original score. Both were on hand during production, along with Rick Stear, to provide behind-the-scenes photography.
Tickets to the premiere are free, with more information on the event here, and at the official Red-Hooded Girl Facebook page. Also showing are A Dark Tale and two Wingless Films productions, Exile and By the Sword.
